On January 15th 2021, DNCC rector had an online meeting with Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Canada. Participants of DNCC included Mr. Nguyen Huu Lanh (MA), DNCC rector and Ms. Duong Thi Minh Hoi, lecturer of International Cooperation section. Participants of Saskatchewan Polytechnic included: Mr. Thevi Pather, Associate Vice President; Mr. Ilko Ihor, international partnerships supervisor; Ms. Tammy Nguyen, International Marketing Consultant, and Ms. Le Van, in-country representative in Vietnam.
DNCC and Saskatchewan Polytechnic set up the cooperation relationship in 2019 with the signing of MOU in October 2019. In this online meeting, DNCC leader expressed his concerns about the operation of Saskatchewan Polytechnic since the outbreak of covid 19 pandemic. Besides, DNCC leader also informed Saskatchewan Polytechnic about the development of DNCC in the recent time.

The two institutions focused on discussing the cooperation sectors in 2021, as well as the cooperation orientation up to 2025, including: instructor training programs, training curriculum development, students and internships exchange, especially the joint programs in transition from vocational training diploma and associate degree to BA degree, which based on Saskatchewan Polytechnic standards.
At the end of the meeting, the two institutions agreed to keep contact through email regarding the above cooperation contents. Saskatchewan Polytechnic will send some instructor training programs to DNCC for selection, then basing on the training budget, to implement them under online mode during covid time, or face-to-face mode after the pandemic ends.
